At the Almond Museum in Avola, a special experience together with the little pupils of the Quasimodo nursery school in Floridia: a cooking workshop dedicated to almonds. The workshop, conceived and created by Viscotta, involved 33 children in the preparation of the traditional almond milk, using simple ingredients but rich in history: Avola almond flour, a cotton cloth, a bowl and water.
It was an educational and informative moment not only for the children, but also for the families who accompanied them. Exciting to see grandmothers and mothers at work, intent on rediscovering and passing on an ancient gesture, full of memory and meaning.
A laboratory that has united generations, celebrating a knowledge that has its roots in our culture and that we hope will continue to live in the hands and hearts of many.
